What makes a good music video?

A good music video must be able to maintain the attention of the viewer. How the attention may be maintained is with the content of the video, though content will change with different genres. A piece of EDM music will sterotypically have a journey for us to follow, this gives us a narrative to follow. On the other hand a hip-hop video will be more illustrative, where the lyrics match the music video.
